Elect Andrew Kozinski – Macumb County Mayor
Lifelong resident. Artist. Comedian. Journalist. Father. Andrew Kozinski has spent his life using creativity and humor to fight for the people of Macumb County. As the former CEO of The Macumb Daily, he’s never been afraid to call out the absurd—like the infamous Golden Butthole—and now, he’s ready to take that same energy to City Hall. His plan? Fix the roads. Revitalize Lakeside Mall. Bring back the Utica Carnival. Put power back in the hands of the people. No more buttholes in Macumb County. No more wasteful projects. No more bad leadership. Vote Kozinski. Vote for change.
Campaign Promises
Macumb County deserves leadership that listens, takes action, and isn’t afraid to have a little fun along the way. My campaign is about embracing what makes our community unique, fixing what’s broken, and bringing back the energy and excitement we all remember. Here’s how we make Macumb County better:

OFFICALLY CHANGE THE NAME OF HALO
Golden Butthole
Upon election, I will officially designate
“Golden Butthole” as the sculpture’s official name, preserving the true history and cultural significance that the community has embraced. It’s essential that we recognize and honor the identity that residents have given it, ensuring that this piece of local history is never forgotten.

BRING BACK
Lakeside Mall
Lakeside Mall was a cornerstone of our community, and its closure was a loss for everyone. I am committed to fighting for its revival, bringing it back as a vibrant hub for shopping, entertainment, and community gatherings. Restoring Lakeside will not only boost local businesses but also provide a safe and engaging space for the youth of Sterling Heights.

ICP
Sterling Fest
For too long, Sterlingfest has overlooked the legendary talent born right here in Michigan. When elected, I will push to bring local icons like Eminem and ICP to headline Sterlingfest—because our community deserves real entertainment, not just the same recycled acts. It’s time
to celebrate our own and make Sterlingfest bigger, louder, and more exciting than ever!
