Today, June 13, 2024, Eminem and Jelly Roll were spotted strolling through Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, Michigan. With the mall set to close on July 1st, Eminem, who lives in nearby Clinton Township, wanted to give Jelly Roll a tour while he was visiting town. Eminem reminisced about the days before he was famous when he would come to this very food court and battle rap kids for money just to afford a slice of Sbarro's Pizza. "Sbarro's Pizza was the closest thing to my mom's spaghetti at the time," he told Jelly Roll. Eminem has a special connection to the mall, having spent much of his youth hanging around there. He expressed his sadness at seeing a place with such rich history in shopping and Hip-Hop culture going under, noting how significant it has been to his personal journey and the local community.
