In a bizarre turn of events at the 2024 Selfridge Airshow, a Roseville, Michigan man allegedly piloted a Thunderbird F-16 fighter jet after reportedly having too much to drink. The man, described as a flight enthusiast who often indulges in flight simulation games on Xbox, seized the opportunity when the jet was temporarily unattended. Witnesses claim he flew the aircraft over Players Detroit and made a pit stop at a BP gas station before dropping by an undisclosed bar to play club Keno. Amidst his escapade, he dropped a case of Natty Light off the jet above Players for the strippers to share. After a brief joyride, during which he circled his trailer in Roseville to impress a friend named Steve, the man returned the jet to the airshow grounds unscathed. Authorities swiftly apprehended him upon his return. He was released on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 22nd, 2024.
