In a dramatic turn of events at Sterling Heights' Lakeside Mall today, 98-year-old Janice, who struggles with her vision and hearing, made a sentimental visit to the mall before its imminent closure. Hoping to take home a keepsake to remember the beloved moments with her late husband Earl from the early 1900s, Janice gently picked up a small plant. As she walked away, she was violently pushed to the ground by undercover police and mall security. Despite her frail age, Macomb County Prosecutor declared, "I don't care if she's old. We are going to make an example out of Janice and throw the book at her." The mall had clear signs prohibiting the removal of plants, a strict warning to all visitors. Now, Janice sits in Macomb County Jail, unable to post bail until Monday, turning a nostalgic visit into a shocking arrest.

Geriatric lives matter!!
It's not her fault. She read 72 comments on FB saying it was OK to take the plants. Any Judge who has seen FB will let her go back and have more plants. And have the SHPD apologize to her before they face a lawsuit.
